Can you introduce yourself and your role at VestedWorld to us?
My name is Peter Wamburu, and I am a Vice President at VestedWorld. My role entails sourcing new investment opportunities, leading due diligence processes, and building sound investment cases for presentation to our investment committee. Post-investment, I support portfolio companies through value-creation initiatives and lead our internal reporting process to our key stakeholders.

VestedWorld is an Africa-focused early-stage fund, investing from Pre-Series A to Series B in companies providing essential goods and services to African consumers. Since 2014, VestedWorld has been at the forefront of early-stage investing in Africa, supporting entrepreneurs who deliver essential goods and services to the continent’s rapidly growing consumer base. With a portfolio of 36 companies spanning Kenya, Nigeria, and Ghana, VestedWorld’s mission is to catalyze sustainable growth across agribusiness, consumer products, and enabling technologies.
